A very beautiful, hardy and low-maintenance North American native coniferous evergreen tree, ‘Vanderfwolf’s Pyramid’ is a moderate to fast growing Limber Pine ideal for use as an attractive specimen, in privacy screen plantings, or to frame tall homes and other structures. It forms a stately upright pyramid to about 30 feet tall and 15 feet wide with closely-spaced, long and soft silvery blue-green needles on highly flexible branches, hence the name. This selection is easy-to-grow and highly resistant to disease and drought when established.

Growing 20 to 30 feet tall (depending on location and pruning) and 10 to 15 feet wide, the Vanderwolf’s Pyramid Limber Pine is ideal for use as a specimen, in groupings or in privacy screen plantings in landscape borders and on slopes, embankments and hillsides for erosion control. With pruning you can control the size and create endless interesting topiary forms for use as eye-catching focal point specimens in the landscape. An excellent outdoor Christmas tree. A fine addition to Asian gardens, conifer gardens, butterfly gardens, native plant gardens and wildlife gardens.

Suggested Spacing:  8 to 10 feet apart for privacy screens; 20 or more feet apart for space between trees
