Description
Bestowed the Award of Excellence in the ‘No Spray’ rose division from the American Rose Society, Oso Easy ‘Peasy’ is one of those low-maintenance shrub roses that anyone can grow with little to no care at all, and it blooms continuously from late spring to frost showing off double blossoms in a stunning tropical magenta-pink hue. No deadheading is needed to keep flowers coming all summer. Its apple-green foliage resists powdery mildew and black spot as good if not better than almost any rose we’ve grown to date. It’s just that good, and will not let you down. At maybe 3.5 feet tall and equally as wide, Oso Easy ‘Peasy’ is a great fit as an accent in smaller garden spaces or in groupings or as a hedge where space will allow. The butterflies and beneficial pollinators will also enjoy this floriferous beauty.
Landscape & Garden Uses
Growing to 3.5 feet tall and equally as wide, the Oso Easy ‘Peasy’ Rose is ideal for use as a colorful accent in smaller garden spaces and pots, planters and other containers, or in very colorful groupings or as a low hedge in larger spaces. It is so reliable and easy to care for we have no problem suggesting it for use in home foundation plantings. A fine addition to rose gardens, cottage gardens, butterfly and beneficial pollinator gardens, perennial and annual flower gardens, and pink theme gardens.
Suggested Spacing:  3 feet apart for solid groupings and low hedges;  6 feet or more apart for space between plants

Growing Requirements

Oso Easy ‘Peasy’ Rose is exceptionally easy to grow in a moist but well-drained soil of average fertility in full sun to part shade. As with all other roses, this one requires morning sun to dry the morning dew from their leaves, which prevent foliar diseases. Some afternoon shade or filtered sun is fine. We suggest 6 hours of direct sunlight per day for best flowering. No pruning is required however the plants responds well to it. Deadheading spent flowers will encourage quicker and heavier rebloom throughout the seasons. In late winter to early spring, the bush can be cut back to half its height before new growth begins to emerge in late winter or very early spring. Plants will then quickly flush out new growth and start blooming with the arrival of warmer temperatures.
