Description
Stunning pink new growth sets Blush Pink apart from other Nandina varieties. This new cultivar is a sport of Firepower Dwarf Nandina with some added spice. The pink foliage glows throughout the growing season leading up to a spectacular fall and winter display of bright pink and burgundy-red foliage. Outstanding in groupings or as a border.
Landscape & Garden Uses
Growing naturally to 2 feet tall and wide, its mounding form and beautiful foliage make Blush Pink Nandina ideal for use as an accent or in groupings in smaller garden spaces. In larger landscape borders plant in mass or along a walkway or path for a stunning display of year round color. A fine centerpiece or accent in container gardens and to pink color gardens, rock gardens, and Xeriscape gardens (low water needs).
Suggested Spacing:  18 inches apart for solid borders or mass plantings;  4 feet or more apart for space between plants
How To Measure Total Square Feet Of A Planting Area
How Many Plants Needed To Cover A Planting Area?
Note:  For our customers who live and garden north of USDA Plant Hardiness Zone 6a, where this Nandina variety is not reliably winter hardy, you’ll be happy to know it can be grown in containers that can be brought indoors during winter and placed back outside when temperatures warm up in spring.
Growing Preferences
Blush Pink Nandina is exceptionally easy to grow in most any average, moist but well drained soils and full sun to part shade. Plants are exceptionally drought tolerant when established. As with so many other shrubs, constantly wet or soggy can cause root rot and other plant diseases. Exceptionally low maintenance requiring little if any pruning. Its low water needs makes it highly suitable for Xeriscape gardening.

Beautiful Nandinas made a wonderful addition to our planters. Ordering was easy and quick delivery for planting! Thank you Wilson Bros Gardens we are so happy with all our plants including the dwarf arborvitae s we had previously ordered.————————————————–Thanks for the photo. I was so impressed with the two Blush Nandinas I ordered, that I decided to order another one. My plants came quickly and were packaged well. The one-gallon plants that I ordered are very healthy and have been in the ground now for a couple of weeks and still look great. I love the color of the Blush Nandina. I have other Southern Living nandinas and they are all very hardy.——————————————–We are so glad you are pleased and we hope you enjoy them for years to come! Plants were healthy and well-packaged; they arrived in good condition and seem to be settling in nicely.—————————————————-We are so glad you are pleased and we hope you enjoy them for years to come! Thanks for the great review! 🙂 Beth Steele | WBG
I was extremely pleased with the plants I purchased, and the professionalism Wilson Brothers provided.
Specifically, the selection of Nandinas that allowed me to order Firepower, Harbor Belle, Gulf Stream, and Blush Pink. The variety of color added to my gardens will be awesome. I also received Blue Dune Lyme Grasses to compliment my evergreens.
Of most significance was the ease in ordering and the extreme care taken by your nursery in packaging the plants; truly a great experience and most appreciated.
Looking forward to ordering some groundcover bamboos when you have them back in stock.
Sincerely.—————————————————————–We are so glad you are pleased and we hope you enjoy them for years to come! Thanks for the great review! 🙂 Beth Steele | WBG

These plants were ordered from Wilson Brothers because they are not available locally. They were ordered early and have not yet been planted. They arrived soon after ordering. They were extremely well-packaged and are beautiful and healthy. They were actually bigger than I expected.————————————WBG Reply: Hi Susan, Thanks so much for taking the time to provide your review of the Blush Pink Nandina. We are so glad you are pleased and we hope you enjoy them for years to come!

I saw Spencer on your “meet the staff” page and just realized that you used to be Gardener Direct, or Spencer switched companies? Anyway, I always got great service from Spencer and am glad to have found him again. I like this website better and the nandinas you shipped were very good plants. I’ll be shopping a lot on your site. Would recommend Wilson Bros to any serious gardeners. —————— WBG Reply: Hi Anna – Thanks so much for your review and compliments. Yes, Spencer was with Gardener Direct for several years but then came over to Wilson Bros Gardens a couple years ago. We’ve known Spencer for over a decade and couldn’t ask for a better manager and partner. We certainly will appreciate you recommending us to others as this is how we grow! Let us know if there’s ever anything else we can help you with. – Brent | Wilson Bros Gardens
