Blue Mist Fothergilla – 3 Gallon Pot

Plant arrived quickly and well-packaged. Got him in the ground and so far so good! It appears healthy and happy! I am an admitted plantaholic. That said I live in a regular urban lot in zone 8b in Seattle. While Seattle was having unusually freezing temps at night in March, my little fothergilla arrived. I was worried about it arriving across the country from a warm start to my chilly garden. The packaging supported my little plant and arrived in perfect condition, It even had a multitude of little flowers blooming! The branches looked sturdy and the root system healthy, not root bound as so many are. I had prepped the hole a week before, and planted my new addition. I made sure she was protected with compost from the chilly nights which we are still having and so far she is doing well. Can’t wait until more consistently warm weather finally comes. I think this plant is going to be an excellent addition to my garden!
