Plant is of a good size.The packing was done well..Though the tree arrived dry and the end of the branches dried out.After nursing it it looks to be recovering.————————————————So sorry it arrived dry, we try our best to get a moist plant delivered. Arrived absolutely perfect. I would never have chosen it for the spot in our landscape if it hadn’t populated in the full sun list of my plant search. I bought this for an accent cedar from the backyard. It came well packed, healthy and is as advertised. Seems to be doing well and looking forward to watching it grow. The 2 Black Dragon Cryptomeria (Japanese Cedar) were packaged in almost damage-proof cardboard. Except for the packing tape all the packaging was recyclable. The trees themselves had no visible insect problems and had a healthy root system inside their 2-gallon pots. Spencer and Lauren were so responsive in helping me find the tree I wanted. I am happy I ordered from them, even though other online sites offered similar trees for a cheaper price.—————————————————Thanks for the kind words!! Cryptomerias are hard to grow here — or at least in my yard. I think we get too much water. I live in South East Texas, along the Gulf Coast, and the area is in fact, a marshland. So ample amounts of water in both rain and soil retention. Maybe too much. But I will have a go with this Black Dragon. It came a very nice size and it looks so healthy. As always, extremely well packaged, as I expect from Wilson Bros. I will plant it near an Arizona Cypress that I purchased from Wilson Bro. more than a year ago that is actually doing quite well. We will see. Thanks as always to Wilson Bros — they are the first nursery I always go to when shopping for a plant. I go else where only if Wilson Bros. does not have what I want.
